Darin Hanson began his career in the financial services industry in 1993, joining his father, Roger, at Swenson Anderson & Associates shortly after earning his degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD), where he was a standout member of the nationally recognized Bulldog basketball program.
In the years that followed, Darin helped grow the firm while deepening his expertise in financial planning, retirement income strategies, employee benefits, company retirement plans, and business succession planning. Through a long-standing affiliation with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC and a strategic relationship with AdvisorNet Financial, he developed a planning approach grounded in personalized service and long-term trust.
In 2025, Darin and his team launched NorthView Financial Partners, a new brand that reflects their continued commitment to client centered advice and forward-thinking financial strategies.
Darin lives in Duluth with his wife, Lori – who works alongside him at NorthView as an Administrative Assistant – and their two children, Kelsi and Lukan. Outside the office, Darin enjoys golfing at Ridgeview Country Club, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and spending quality time with family and friends at their cabin on Fish Lake. He currently services as an active board member for the CHUM and Duluth East Foundations.
